Error: increase redo log size using innodb_log_file_size

DesktopServer uses MySQL 5.6.28. This version should be safe to rebuild the log file at a different size (although we would recommend backing up your installation first):

https://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.6/en/innodb-data-log-reconfiguration.html

The my.cnf file can be located on Macintosh systems at:

/Applications/XAMPP/xamppfiles/etc

You will need to copy (alt+drag) the file to your desktop first, make modifications in your text editor (i.e. changing innodb_log_file_size = 64M), save changes, and copy the file back to overwrite the existing*.

Note:

We have not vetted that this process works yet and it should probably not be performed while MySQLd is in memory. If you do follow this process, be sure to shutdown MySQLd using DesktopServer’s first option to ‘Stop or restart...’, followed by ‘Stop...’ and close the application.
